Bias Tracker was completed as a part of LinkedIn's 2021 NSBE Local Hack Day and won the "Just Ship It" prize. The description of the project is below:
Research has found that biased wording in job postings can maintain workforce inequality. We believe that diversity in hiring doesn't start with hiring. Our project aims to equip recruiters and job candidates with a tool that helps them be more informed and educated against biased content. Bias Tracker is a chrome extension that leverages natural language processing to evaluate and quantify the "bias-ness" of the content of a job posting.
